Have you ever thought about how incredibly blessed you are? If you’ve made Jesus your Lord then, by definition, you are. Don’t just remind yourself of this when things get bad, you should do this daily. Part of the reason is that you do remind you of your blessings. When you think about if…. You didn’t earn or purchase those blessings, it came from the love of God for you.

Recently I was doing a deeper dive in order to prepare for a teaching on Healing. I made a discovery at that time through the teaching of Robert Morris. One of my takeaways was how he presented the necessity for spiritual seeing. And as important as physical seeing is for us, we really can’t live without spiritual seeing. Which led me to the (obvious) thought that we should pray for spiritual sight as much as we pray for any healing, any need, any want, any anything. And then to reinforce this He tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious but to ask.

Emerging from that began the understanding that we can always pray for the things that happened in Jesus’ time because scripture clearly tells us that He is the same: yesterday, today, and forever! (Hebrews 13:8)

“Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Notice that the Amplified expands our thinking by saying: eternally changeless, always. That should leave no room for argument or question – if Jesus did ‘it’ and told us to do ‘it’ – then it’s available for all of us NOW! This is an extremely simple concept and progression of thought… why would we stop and wonder?

The Message Bible phrases 13:8 as: “For Jesus doesn’t change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, He’s always totally Himself.” It’s the “He’s always totally Himself” that makes me smile. “Totally Himself”. And isn’t this the model, example we need to follow? When we don’t act as the Blessed people of God all the time then what message are we demonstrating? And since our blessing are REAL, it’s not difficult to express them.

Being, acting blessed is our choice. And if you say that you don’t have it all. Then, what’s missing? And what stops you from rejoicing in what you do have? If you need more, then what you need will be available at the point you need it. When, EVER, has the Lord let you down, not been with you? Exactly. He said He would never leave us, could you have walked away? Maybe you weren’t looking for Him? Perhaps, you simply didn’t know what it is you know?

“Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in Him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!” [{Philippians 4:4-5, MSG]

Celebrate. Revel are visible expressions of who you are, Whose you are and what’s available to all who make Jesus their Lord. Blessed beyond measure!
